Making exact predictions is difficult, especially when you only have a small fraction of the data. The data will generally give you a good indication, but will never allow you to predict, with certainty, that a particular outcome will occur. We discussed this in detail in our previous post.
To mitigate against these uncertainties in the data, we have added a new piece of information to the top 10 songs shown in the prediction.
Below the vote count, a new line of information can be found, displaying the range of (inclusive) positions that we expect a particular song to place during the countdown. The range is based on prediction data and trends we have found from previous years.
